Not quite an a meal plan, but here comes an idea that will minimize your thinking as to what to serve for dinner next week.

Indian food is perfect for having country-themed meals every night of the week. That is because India has the world’s largest number of vegetarians. Many communities in India have always been vegetarian. And any vegan will be pleased to go to an Indian restaurant because there is always vegan options.

To get you started and your mouth watering, here are a few traditional Indian foods that are naturally or can easily be made vegan:

  • Masoor Dal
  • Seitan Vindaloo.
  • Palak ‘Paneer’
  • Malai Kofta: Potato Dumplings in Spiced Tomato Sauce.
  • ‘Paneer’ Tikka Masala.
  • Punjabi Chana Masala.
  • Aloo Tikki
  • Naan.
  • Vegetable Biryani.
